That sentence alone is a a "keeper"...motive..why are we doing what we are doing?...especially when we attempt to reach out to hurting people...as I was reading your account of trying to reach out to this girl I could FEEL your concern...I've done similiar type of things..reaching out to people and experienced the "no show" response, even after they've looked me in the eye and assured me they were coming...that is why what you said about...are you going there for friends or are you going there to serve the Lord is such a powerful nugget of truth. good stuff!
